Getting a library card is easy and it is free. All you have to do is stop in at the front desk and the librarian can make you a card in minutes. All you need is identification and a smile. If you don’t have the smile we will provide one for you!

The librarian will ask you for your name, address, phone number as well as your city and township. If you are not sure of your township, don’t worry. We have maps at the library that will help you locate you township or muncipaity.

A library card is free to any area resident age 6 or older. Children under 14 require a parent or guardian’s signature to obtain a card. New patrons are limited to 5 items in their initial check out. This includes those who own vacation property in the area.

Temporary residents or visitors are welcome to obtain a temporary card with a $20 deposit which is refunded at the end of your stay. Regular cards are renewed every 5 years.
